THE WRENCH

The Wrench is a forensic account of epistemic trust and mechanical failure in contemporary AI systems.

Rather than presenting a theory or a set of prescriptions, the book documents observed failure patterns that arise when fluent, high-performance AI systems are used in high-stakes cognitive work. It focuses on how trust is formed, how structural boundaries are crossed silently, and how cognitive injury can occur even in the absence of malicious intent.
